Floor-watering system for turkeys

The central element of the floor-watering system for turkeys is the turkey nipple Art. 4070. The drinking system gets optimised with the pendulum and the cups for rearing and fattening for every age of the turkey.

The principle of the pendulum

The pendulum gets directed with the head of the animal at every absorption of water. The valve in the turkey nipple opens and water flows out of the 28 mm square pipe from the inside of the pendulum into the cup.

At every drinking procedure the edge of the cub gets clean with the help of the jowl and the feathering of the birds (sea lower picture).

Therefore the optimal height for the animals is necessary.

The LUBING Floor-watering system for turkeys consists of the following elements:

1. Water supply
2. Drinking elements

1. Water supply:

The main water supply secures an optimal water quality for a long service life of nipple drinkers. The water should have the quality of drinking water. At any case the water must get filtered. The water supply occurs with the help of the main water supply trough the pressure regulator with integrated flush system. This version is available for the front- or the middle-connection.

2. Drinking elements

The drinking lines are supplied pre-assembled in 3 m long elements. These are coupled together to the length of the house.

3. Breather unit

At the end of each drinking line it is alternatively possible to mount a breather revolving unit or a flush breather, that contains an automatic flushsystem.

4. Suspension

The suspension of the drinking lines is supplied via hangers, which are stuck on the aluminium profiles every 3 m. These steel wire hangers are connected with the suspension cables via ceiling pulleys with the central hoisting cable. Then the drinking line can be adjusted to the desired height by the hand – or it can be winched up easily to the ceiling for emptying or cleaning.

* The number of birds per nipple has to be reduced when the birds are heavy, in hot climate zones and in dependence of the light- /waterprogramme! Pay attention to national / regional regulations!
